Cocoon Healing Blog
This morning, I had a meaningful conversation with one of my clients, and it reminded me of the importance of addressing the deep-down awkwardness you might feel when contemplating discussing your divorce with colleagues or employees. It's undoubtedly a challenging situation, as you may feel like you've lost everything and now have to open up about your personal life without compromising your professionalism.
However, it can be done effectively by maintaining your professionalism throughout. In fact, you can even use this situation to create a support network at work. This allows you to identify allies or mentors who can provide guidance and support. Additionally, consider building a network of friends, family members, or joining a support group. Connecting with others who have gone through similar experiences can help you feel less alone and provide valuable understanding and inspiration.
Remember to take your time, continue to love yourself, and practice deep breathing. Your journey of reclaiming your self-identity is a process, and it's worth the effort.
Thank you for reading, and here's to your journey of reclaiming your self-identity.
