You might wonder why you should listen to me, but the reason is simple—I've been where you are, I have experienced a divorce. Today, let's talk about staying focused, maintaining productivity, and handling your professional responsibilities while also addressing the personal challenges that inevitably arise during a divorce.

First and foremost, grant yourself the permission to prioritize self-care as you navigate the complexities of divorce and work. It's crucial to acknowledge that you've been through a tremendous and painful experience. So, be gentle with yourself and remind yourself daily that healing takes time.

Taking care of your emotions and feelings is equally important. Find a dedicated time and place to process them. It's common for us to excel at caring for others but forget how to do it for ourselves. Now is the time to change that. Find moments to be present with yourself, to show love and kindness to yourself, and do it because you deserve it.
