In a recent conversation with one of my clients, we discussed the significant changes happening in the world, particularly in how companies are now offering support to their employees through employee assistance program. These programs provide easier access to counseling services and support groups, which is a fantastic development. What's truly remarkable is how some companies are incorporating mindfulness techniques into these programs, making them accessible to employees without the need for extensive travel or yoga classes.

What I find particularly fascinating is the power of the mind and how mindfulness techniques, such as focused breathing, can help calm the mind's constant turmoil. Our minds often oscillate between regrets about the past and anxieties about the future. However, with proper breathing techniques, the mind becomes less agitated, allowing for better decision-making and a more focused approach to life's challenges.

Our breath is a powerful tool gifted to us by life itself, yet many of us don't utilize it effectively. When companies offer these techniques to employees, it's a valuable gift, enabling them to perform better, be present, and genuinely enjoy their work.
